    • Red Snapper v Green Snapper

The Snapper Green and Snapper Mini.Jr are for all children under the age of 11. When used on all GO Wellington, Airport Flyer, Valley Flyer and Runcimans buses, these green Snappers automatically apply a child concession fare, plus the additional discount for using Snapper.

From the age of eleven, children must use a standard Snapper, such as the Snapper Red, Snapper Sprat or Snapper Mini. The “raw” Snapper comes pre-programmed to charge an adult fare. However, we’re able to write the user’s date of birth to these, which in the case of 11 to 17 year olds who are in full time education, entitles them to the same child fare concession as a green Snapper.
