The adrenalin is already pumping with the announcement that Snapper has joined the action packed team at Richter City Roller Derby to bring you easily the most fun you’ll have this year. 

Snapper will help Roller derby fans blitz past the queue at the first bout of the season – Stop, Drop and Roll – on 24^th July.  You’ll spend no time queuing, which means you won’t miss any of the non-stop action when you use your Snapper.

Wow, sounds awesome. What is Roller derby?
For the uninitiated, Roller derby (pronounced “dur-bee”) is two 30-minute halves of high-paced action on and off the track.  You’ll be dazzled by the thrills and spills from some of NZ’s biggest roller talent, titillating blow-by-blow commentary from MCs and commentators, and rockin’ half time performances from Wellington Batucada and DJ Forge.  Roller derby is about to rock Wellington again, and now’s your chance to join the thousands of fans that already know that it’s the best bone-rattling entertainment on wheels.

How will I be able to use Snapper on the night?
With Snapper available on the night of Stop, Drop and Roll, you’ll be able to Snapper your tickets, food and beverage, and RCRD merchandise on the night, top up your Snapper at the Snapper Kiosk, and enjoy all the antics and low balance clichés that the Snapper Penalty Box can throw at you and the competitors.

You’ll even be able to buy a Snapper on the night if you haven’t got one already.

Snapper hosts will be onsite to answer all your Snapper questions, and perhaps a few of your Roller Derby questions too.

So come to the TSB Arena armed with your Snapper.  Use your Snapper to buy your tickets at the door and, in true Roller Derby style, smash past the queue.

I must be there! When and where is this happening?
The first bout – Stop, Drop and Roll – begins at 7pm July 24th at TSB Arena.  Doors fly open at 6pm.
