The Rubble Rouser with Snapper and Richter City Roller Derby

Leave a comment Blog published on 27 August 2010 by admin

It’s less than 2 weeks to go until the next bout of the Richter City Roller Derby.

This one’s called the Rubble Rouser and it is sure to be jammed and packed with as much intense action, thrills and spills and as Stop, Drop and Roll.

As this season’s sponsor of the Snapper Penalty Box, we’re keen to give you as many chances as possible to speed past the queue and enjoy all the action on September 4th.  At Stop, Drop and Roll loads of fans paying at the door used their Snapper instead of cash.  And who said Snapper was just a bus ticket!

Just like the last bout, if you bring your Snapper to the Rubble Rouser you’ll be able to:

Top up your Snapper at a Snapper Kiosk

Snapper your tickets at the door

Snapper your food and drink at the refreshment stands, and

Snapper your Richter City merchandise.

The world famous, (OK, Wellington famous,) Snapper hosts will again be on site on the night to help fans make best use of the Snapper express queues.

In the meantime, as the countdown begins to September 4th, because we’re such good sports we’re going to run a daily quiz leading up to the Rubble Rouser, with lots of Snapper and Roller Derby prizes.

To kick things off, here’s a nice easy question for you:

What is the term used to identify skaters who are new and are in training and have not been drafted to a team?

If you need some help, check out www.richtercity.co.nz.

You’ve now got until midnight on Friday 27th August to get your answer to us on Facebook, Twitter, or here on the Snapper blog.
