Media Release  - Snapper continues winning event partnership

Snapper continues the winning partnership with Richter City Roller Derby helping fans speed past the queues at the second bout, the Rubble Rouser, on September 4th.

Record crowds

Miki Szikszai, CEO of Snapper says, “The first bout of the Roller Derby season was a huge success with record crowds of close to 3000 fans. We think the Rubble Rouser will be even better.

“Snapper cardholders had the benefit of almost no queues for tickets and for this next event we’re ready for even more people using their Snapper for entry to the Rubble Rouser on September 4th .”

Mr Szikszai continues, “Roller Derby fans using Snapper will spend no time queuing, which means they won’t miss any of the non-stop action when they use Snapper on the night.”

Leave your cash at home

“Fans who bring their Snapper to the Rubble Rouser will be able to:

1. Top up their Snapper at  a conveniently placed Snapper Kiosk

2. Snapper their tickets using the Snapper express queue.

3. Snapper their food and drink at the refreshment stands, and

4. Snapper their Richter City merchandise.

“Snapper hosts will be on site on the night to help fans make best use of the Snapper express queues.  Fans with a Snapper can leave their cash at home.”

Join the build up to September 4

“Roller Derby is a phenomenon that has captured the imagination of Wellington. We’ve teamed up with Richter City to offer exciting competitions and giveaways leading up to September 4th.  We invite fans to join the daily quiz on Facebook  to be in to win great snapper prizes and tickets.”
