Snapper is running a project competition as part of Summer of Tech.
The challenge is to: “demonstrate using Snapper technology to make every day easier“.
This could range from “how to use a mobile phone to top up my card” to “how to implement a corporate petty cash card”, or it could simply be “I wish MySnapper could do something else, here is a demo”.
A working example Java program that will top up a Snapper card over the internet using the same backend as MySnapper is available for download.
The prize is a Macbook AIR and an iPhone 4. There will also be a couple of runner up prizes of Android phones – specification to be announced later..
Submissions would need to be in by 1st of March, with the announcement of the winner at the end of March.
Contact for this project is via an email, soc@snapper.co.nz
