Snapper self-service kiosks are a quick and convenient way to:
- Check your Snapper balance
- Top-up your Snapper when you're out and about. All you need is your Snapper and your EFTPOS card.

Snapper balance
To get an instant Snapper balance, just place your Snapper on top of the Snapper reader. Your balance is displayed on the Snapper reader in green, next to the word "balance".
Snapper top up
Topping up is easy:
1. Place and leave your Snapper on the Snapper reader
2. Press the yellow button on the EFTPOS terminal labelled "top up" on the screen
3. Enter the amount you wish to top up and press OK.
4. Pay by EFTPOS (Cheque or savings only).
5. When the green circle appears on the Snapper reader, your transaction has been accepted and your Snapper is topped up.
6. You can now remove your Snapper.
The EFTPOS terminal will display "present card". If you haven't already placed your Snapper on top of the Snapper Reader in step one, do so now and your Snapper will be topped up.
The top up amount is displayed in red on the Snapper reader, next to the word "amount".
Your current Snapper balance is displayed in green on the Snapper reader, next to the word "balance".
In a split second your Snapper is topped up and your new Snapper balance is displayed in green on the Snapper reader, next to the word "balance".
Because Snapper kiosks are self-service there are no transaction fees: if you pay for a $20 top-up, $20 is loaded onto your Snapper.
