Our dear friends at the Wellington Cable Car have asked us to pass on the following information regarding their up coming upgrade!
The Wellington Cable Car will be closed from 7 June to 17 August 2016 to undertake a major equipment upgrade.
A replacement bus service will operate during the shutdown between Lambton Quay and Kelburn via The Terrace and Victoria University’s Kelburn Campus.
The buses will cost $2 one way, cash only.
- No Snapper Card, Victoria Inter-campus pass or multi-trip passes accepted.
- SuperGold Cards can be used for off peak travel.
