About Snapper Services

Snapper Services is focused on accelerating the journey to a sustainable world by enabling excellent, frictionless public transport experiences through intelligent ticketing solutions and data-driven tools that enhance and streamline operator performance.

Snapper Services designs, builds and supports solutions used by transport authorities and operators around the world. Today, we operate two core product lines:

Snapper ticketing
Snapper pioneered contactless, small-value smart-card payments in New Zealand in 2008, creating a new category in the market and setting the benchmark for simple, reliable passenger experiences. Snapper provides a modern, adaptable platform that integrates with existing systems and enables mobile top-ups, customer self-service, and flexible account-based capabilities.

Mosaiq Transit Intelligence Suite

The Mosaiq Transit Intelligence Suite is our cloud-based public transit analytics platform used by public transport operators and authorities globally. It provides accurate, unified, and actionable insights that help teams identify inefficiencies, improve network performance, and maintain complete visibility across operations.

The Mosaiq Suite includes:

  • Mosaiq Insights – rapid analytics to understand what happened across your network and why
  • Mosaiq Go – mobile-based intelligence without the need for onboard hardware
  • Mosaiq Live – real-time visibility of journeys and fleet movement
