Contactless credit and debit card payment for Metlink services is coming soon!

From mid April, you’ll be able to pay for Metlink services using contactless credit and debit cards. Snapper will be available until Metlink has fully transitioned to Motu move, so you can keep using your Snapper card if you don’t have a debit or credit card.

A Snapper card will still be required if you want to use a concession, tag on multiple people on a bus, use day or 30‑day passes, or make use of the 30‑minute bus transfer.
