Snapper News Sale of rail and bus passes temporarily paused

Sale of rail and bus passes temporarily paused

Kia ora Wellington,

In line with the government’s announcement of half price public transport fares from April 1st, Snapper and Greater Wellington Regional Council are working together on changes to support this across the board.

Included in the half price fares will be all bus and rail travel passes. In order to support the transition to these new pass prices, sale of Snapper 30 Day passes for both bus and rail will be suspended from Monday 21 March, until Friday 1 April when the new fares take effect.

Any bus or rail passes purchased before March 21st that are still active on April 1st, will have reimbursement arrangements made, and we will be in contact with those cardholders directly in due course to provide more detail on this.

Passes will be available for purchase again from April 1, at the new prices.
