It’s a really good idea to register your Snapper because it will protect your Snapper balance should your card be lost or stolen. Also you’ll get online access to your Snapper account 24/7, showing your balance and transaction history. This is particularly handy if you have kids with Snappers – you can register their Snappers on your account too, so you can keep an eye on their balances.
Registering your Snapper takes just a couple of minutes and gives you complete peace of mind.
Report a lost Snapper
If your Snapper is lost or stolen and you’ve registered it, then email us on firstname.lastname@example.org with your card number, the email address your Snapper card is registered to, and details of what’s happened. We’ll put a block on the Snapper so that no one else can use it. If after 24 hours, you’ve still not found your Snapper, we can arrange to transfer your balance to another Snapper in your possession or to a replacement Snapper. You will need to pay for the replacement Snapper.
About your privacy
If you choose to register your Snapper, your information is kept secure and only used to allow you to top up, view your transactions and in case your card is lost or stolen. We do not pass on your details to any other organisation.
When you register your Snapper, we will ask you if you want to receive emails from Snapper. These updates will keep you informed of new Snapper products and services, and let you know about our competitions, promotions and exclusive retail deals. You can opt out of receiving these promotional updates, but Snapper may still email you about your account.
It is your choice whether you register your Snapper or not. You can buy your Snapper from a Snapper retailer, and top it up at a Snapper retailer or Snapper kiosk without handing over personal information of any kind. However, an unregistered card is not protected if you lose it – whoever finds it can use up your balance – and you will not be able to view your transaction history.
